Craftsmanship
Every bottle begins with 100% locally grown Cotswold barley, traditionally floor-malted for character and complexity. Fermented with Anchor and Fermentis yeasts, the spirit is distilled slowly to retain its natural fruit notes. Maturation takes place in a mix of STR (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred) American oak ex-red wine casks and first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, imparting depth, spice, and a signature warmth.
This single malt marks a milestone as the first whisky ever produced in the Cotswolds, reflecting the vision of founder Dan Szor, who left a career in finance to follow his passion for whisky and rural life.
