El Silencio Joven Mezcal

The wonderful Mezcal El Silencio "Joven" comes from the village of San Baltazar Guelavila. This special blend of three agave types - Espadin, Tobaisiche & Mexicano - is double distilled in copper pots making it a beautiful sipping Mezcal. Robb Report agrees, "Smooth without giving up the rustic character of the drink, with the flavors of fennel, white pepper, and fine saddle leather lurking behind a merely lip-numbing burn." - Michalene Busico ("Lightning in a Bottle," June 2014).
