Dos Pasiones Mezcal is a renowned Mezcal brand created by Epigmenio Martinez Perez. He was eight years old when his father was shot and killed. After four years, his beloved elder brother was also stabbed while returning home. Eventually, Epigmenio had to take responsibility for the whole family in 1943. With the help of his uncle, he started making Mezcal. After a series of hardships, Epigmenio finally opened his first Palenque distillery in 1999.
